As fantasy football season approaches, it's time to start thinking about potential sleepers who could help elevate your team to victory. Sleepers are underrated players who have the potential to outperform expectations and provide great value for your fantasy team. In this article, we will discuss a few underrated players to keep an eye on as you prepare for your draft.

One player to watch is a young, Year 2 running back from the East Coast, Bucky Irving. Despite not receiving much attention in the offseason, and being on a fluid offense, Irving finished the 2024 season as the RB13 in Full PPR leagues despite sharing about 55% of the workload with Rachaad White. With a high ceiling and the potential for an increased workload as White enters the final year of his Rookie Contract, he could and should be a valuable addition to your fantasy team.
Another player to consider is a Wide Receiver who has flown under the radar due to playing on a bad team, with a bad quarterback, in a porus WR room. (Injuries have not helped his case at all) Chris Olave. However, rumors of the Saints being in the market for a QB in this upcoming draft class, along with no other true playmaker in the WR room make him a promising sleeper pick for fantasy owners. In one of my most recent start-up Dynasty Mock Drafts, Olave fell to 8.08 (88th overall). At this ADP, Olave is the perfect "Buy Low" candidate. Keep an eye on his progress during the offseason/preseason to see if he can live up to his original draft hype which saw him go #11 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft.
When looking for sleepers in fantasy football, it's important to do your research and trust your instincts. Keep an eye on players who may be flying under the radar but have the potential to make a significant impact on your team. By identifying these underrated players and adding them to your roster, you could have a competitive advantage over your opponents throughout the season.
